Backed by a few decades of laboratory management experience, Alvin is a well-known professional in Singapore’s medical laboratory industry.
Alvin started his career in Parkway Laboratories upon graduation in 1989, and rapidly progressed up the career ladder. He has been instrumental in propelling the growth of Parkway Laboratories and in 2014, Alvin was appointed as Chief Operating Officer. Thereafter, Alvin was headhunted to lead an established Beijing laboratory with strong presence in northern part of China.
Alvin rejoined Parkway Laboratories in 2016, and was overseeing the clinical operations of all six Parkway laboratories in Singapore, prior to joining Reste Laboratories as Chief Operating Officer in 2020.
Setting up more than 20 laboratories in the Asia Pacific region during his career of over 30 years, Alvin has accumulated vast experience and is highly sought after as the subject matter expert. His recent achievements include building the Parkway core laboratory and Reste Laboratory to world-class standard.
Alvin holds a Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) from Curtin University of Technology, Australia and a Advanced Diploma in Medical Laboratory from Singapore Polytechnic.
